The Fluorescent Tiger Barb (Barbus tetrazona "Fluorescence") is a selectively bred variety of the Tiger Barb, notable for its glowing, neon-like body coloration under aquarium lights. Available in bright shades such as green, red, orange, and pink, these fish add a dazzling display of color and activity to freshwater tanks. Like other Tiger Barbs, they are energetic and schooling, but can show mild fin-nipping behavior if not kept in proper groups.
