This variant of the Tiger Barb displays a stunning golden-yellow body with distinctive black vertical stripes—often referred to as the "Yellow" or "Gold" Tiger Barb. Like all Tiger Barbs, it’s an energetic, schooling species that adds vibrant activity to aquariums.

Care Guidelines:

• Temperament: Semi-aggressive with fin-nipping tendencies; best kept in groups to diffuse aggression.

• Schooling Needs: Maintain a school of at least 6–8 individuals to establish a social hierarchy and reduce stress.

• Tank Size: Minimum 15 gallons (≈ 60 L) recommended for a small school; larger tanks provide better swimming space.
