Temperament: Peaceful and active; best kept in schools of at least six individuals to promote natural behavior and reduce stress Â
Habitat: Prefers aquariums with ample swimming space, subdued lighting, and a sandy substrate. Incorporating driftwood and dried leaves can mimic their natural environment .Â

-
pH: 6.0–7.5
-
Temperature: 22–28°C (72–82°F)
-
Hardness: Soft to moderately hard water .Â
