Care Instructions

• Habitat Requirements: Requires a spacious, well-oxygenated environment with moderate to strong water flow in order to mimic its natural riverine habitat.

• Water Conditions: Prefers clear, clean water in the 16–26 °C range. These fishes are sensitive and vanish in degraded or polluted environments. Social Behavior: Peaceful and ideally housed in small groups that allow for natural shoaling behaviors.

• Diet: Omnivorous—thrives on a diverse diet including pellets, invertebrates, algae, and even fallen fruits in their natural setting.
