The Short Body Boesemani Rainbowfish is a compact variant of the classic Boesemani Rainbowfish, known for its vibrant coloration and peaceful temperament. Native to the Vogelkop Peninsula of Western New Guinea, this species has been selectively bred to achieve a shorter, rounder body shape while retaining the striking blue and orange hues characteristic of its longer-bodied relatives.

• Size: 1.5 inches (approximately 3.8 cm); grows to 3–4 inches (7.6–10.2 cm) in adulthood

• Origin: Vogelkop Peninsula, Western New Guinea

• Temperament: Peaceful, energetic, and schooling

• Diet: Omnivorous; accepts flakes, pellets, brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms
